JU female student killed in road crash

A female student of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was killed and two others insulted in a traffic industrial accident in stomach of the main admittance of the academic world circles at Savar upon the outskirts of Dhaka upon Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Fathema Khatun, a third year student (41st batch) of the anthropology department at the scholastic circles.

The identities of the wounded could not be known.

The fellow students blocked the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in stomach of the campus before now at roughly 6:00pm protesting at the killing.

The witnesses said that the accident occurred at not quite 4:30pm in imitation of a Dhaka-bound pick-happening van from Nabinagar ran on summit of Fathema in front of the academic world's main right to use though she was waiting there for a bus, swearing her and two overdo pedestrians systematically disrespected.

Fathema was brought to Super Medical at Savar where the commitment doctors avowed her dead.

Police seized the pick-occurring van and took to the Savar Highway Police Station. But the driver of the vehicle managed to escape the scene.

As the news of the death of the student reorganize, the aggrieved fellow students blocked the Dhaka-Aricha Highway at just about 6:30pm. They were yet blocking the perky highway till filing this relation at about 7:30pm.
