Qatar eyes Bangladesh's energy sector

Qatar, one of the richest Gulf States, has expressed inclusion to invest in Bangladeshs vibrancy sector and building LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal.

Qatar prime minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani conveyed it to commerce minister Tofail Ahmed, now in Doha, during a meeting held regarding Monday night on the sidelines of Doha Forum.

The premier plus assured the Bangladesh commerce minister of hiring more Bangladeshis as Qatar will require supreme manpower for developing infrastructure ahead of World Cup 2022, said a commerce ministry media pardon upon Tuesday.

Tofail briefed the Qatar prime minister very more or less the investment climate and prevailing facilities and laid stress upon recruiting more workers from Bangladesh.
