Four people, including a schoolboy, were killed and two others insulted in remove incidents of lightning strike in Lakshmipur, Bagerhat and Bhola districts in report to Thursday.
Lakshmipur
In Lakshmipur, a young people person girl, Jannatul Ferdous, daughter of Belal Hossain of the village of Sreerampur in Ramganj, was killed as a thunderbolt struck her during a storm in the evening.
Ramganj police official-in-war Lokman Hossainconfirmed the incident.
Bagerhat
In Bagerhat, two people, including a schoolboy, were killed and two others insulted as a thunderbolt hit a fruit shop at the village of Ragoir in Morelganj in the evening.
The deceased were fruit seller Dalim Khan, 35, and the learned boy Yeasin Sheikh, 14, son of Tariqul Islam Sheikh of Goalbaria village in the upazila.
The exasperated were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Bhola
In Bhola, teenager person boy Monir, son of Mohammad Yeasin of Paschim Joynagar village in Daulatkhan, was killed after brute struck by lightning in the afternoon.
Witnesses said a norwester was sweeping along with again Daulatkhan upazila in the afternoon.
During the storm, a thunderbolt hit Monir, a farmer by profession, even if he was supple in a arena at the village.
