After a times of two years of conflict, residents of Syrias Old Homs city have finally returned to their homes after the city was avowed safe and set drifting of arms and gunmen, media reported upon Saturday.

Governor Talal al-Barazi Friday announced that the Old City of Homs has evacuated all rebels as a allocation of a concurrence concluded recently along in the midst of the Syrian supervision troops and the armed future groups, reports IANS referring to SANA news agency.

The arrangement went into effect earlier last week subsequent to a ceasefire upon Wednesday and the departure of concerning 968 rebels and civilians from districts of pass Homs to the town of al-Dar al-Kabira in northern Homs.

In exchange, the rebels totally to lift their siege of the benefit-processing towns of Nubul and Zahra in the northern province of Aleppo and to pardon the people and soldiers they had kidnapped earlier.

A few militants had along with turned themselves in and handed on summit of their weapons to the authorities.

The evacuation started two days ago once the goal of having the city of Homs cleared of arms and gunmen.

The residents of the Old City of Homs asserted that they would rebuild everything that was damaged and destroyed in the ongoing neglect.
