Pakistan authority suspends Geo TV

A Pakistani media regulatory authority has suspended the licences of Geo television network and ordered the authorities concerned to seal offices the networks television channels.

The Dawn, a Pakistani news portal, reports: a committee formed by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has suspended the licences of three television channels owned by the Geo TV network. 

However, a unlimited decision going once mention to the order of for the revocation of the licences will be announced taking into account the meeting a propos the subject of 28 May, which will along with be attended by dealing out representatives. 

Dawn after that reports: "the committee, which includes members Syed Ismail Shah, Pervez Rathore and Israr Abbasi, was tasked to review the Ministry of Defence's application filed against Geo TV network for levelling allegations against an shrewdness agency of Pakistan."
